My time here has been spent looking for visual connections with people who have been here before. I found a sense of timelessness in the hedges where current plants and flowers have remained more or less the same for centuries

The rescue and restoration of Llwyn Celyn in South Wales was a complex and significant project for The Landmark Trust, supported with funding from Heritage Lottery Fund. Peak is an arts organisation based in the Black Mountains that works creatively with artists and communities, responding to the rural environment.
Brancher was one of five artists selected by the Landmark Trust in partnership with Peak, for a three year residency at Llwyn Celyn. During the residency Brancher found inspiration in the route to the medieval house and the association with plants, people and memory.
